These restaurants donate a generous portion of the proceeds from this event to locally based HIV/AIDS organizations. Subaru is proud to sponsor AIDS/LifeCycle 7 and is the Official Vehicle of the annual 545-mile bike tour. The journey will commence in San Francisco and will stop along coastal campsites during this week-long fundraiser which ends in Los Angeles. Subaru supports the mission of AIDS/LifeCycle that includes: raising funds required to continue AIDS research, increase awareness of the pandemic and provide treatment for those living with HIV/AIDS. The 60th Blue Paddle FIBArk Whitewater Festival will be held June 12th - 15th, 2008. Many of the top whitewater sports stars from around the world will venture to take on the mighty Arkansas River. This years FIBArk once again brings back the highly anticipated boat races and competitions including Pine Creek Boater-X, the crowd pleasing Raft Freestyle, the incredible acrobatics of the Kayak Rodeo, and of course, the wild and crazy Hooligan Race.
