Grant Focus

Education is our main funding priority. We understand that problems do not live in isolation and that many issues have positive, and negative, impact on a child’s interest in learning. Accordingly, SOAF seeks partnerships that:
  • Enhance the academic learning experience of youth and engage them in the learning process, including professional development for educators
  • Promote positive attitudes, understanding and appreciation for the diverse society in which we live
  • Promote environmental stewardship and education for youth

Geographic Focus

SOAF directs its energies to local interests - those organizations surrounding our corporate (where primary consideration is given) and regional offices. We may choose to consider proposals from other geographic areas during a calendar year. If so, the locations will be listed here and may change from year to year. Only proposals serving the geographic locations listed will be considered.

For calendar year 2008, our focus will include:
  • Corporate Headquarters, Cherry Hill, NJ and Pennsauken, NJ
  • Mid-Atlantic Region, Westhampton, NJ
  • South Central Region, Austell, GA
  • Great Lakes Region, Itasca, IL
  • Southwest Region, Aurora, CO
  • Northwest Region, Portland, OR
