About the Subaru of America Foundation

The Subaru of America Foundation (SOAF) was established in 1984 as a way to formally address and support the needs of local communities. Since that time, SOAF has awarded nearly $6 million to programs that serve primarily children. By offering young people creative enrichment and educational programs that engage them in the learning process, we are taking an active role in helping to make learning a more participatory fun educational experience.

Grants
We are targeted in our approach to community investments and focus mainly on programs that enhance the academic learning experience for youth. Please visit SOAF’s Grant Focus and Eligibility and Limitations for more information.  You will be asked to complete a brief eligibility assessment before accessing the online application form.

Matching Gifts
Subaru encourages its employees to support causes and organizations that are important to them. To this end, SOAF matches Subaru employees' financial contributions to eligible, non-profit organizations on a 1:1 basis up to $2,000 per employee annually. All 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible excluding direct support of churches, religious, political and fraternal organizations.
